I know I hate the Wik, but it was easiest to reach and defines it well. Why do I define...15 days from now we make a choice to ruin the USA. Usless vs. Dangerous. What a choice...atleast its not evil vs eviler?

I digress again...I define socialism so I can take a look at NObama's plan and hopefully give you an eyeful...Here's the things I lifted from his presidential campaign website...

1. Give an immediate $250 to ‘workers and their families’.

2. Give an immediate $250 to seniors for whatever reason.

3. Give another $250 to ‘workers and seniors’ if the economy worsens.

4. Give money to (aka Provide relief for) homeowners hit by the housing crisis.

5. Create a $10 billion foreclosure fund for irresponsible homeowners.

6. Create an mortgage interest credit (negative tax) only for ‘low-income’ workers.

7. Ensure freedom to unionize (form unions)

8. Provide UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE COVERAGE by providing the ‘average’ family a $2500 reduction in premiums.

9. Make college ‘affordable’ by providing $4000 tax credit (read ‘tax redistribution’...and who gets that money? Last time I was affected by a Democratic president, it was Clinton penalizing me for being White! by giving my SCHOLASTIC based grants to the "more deserving")

10. Tackle ‘concentrated poverty’ in America.

11. Increase the supply of affordable housing (read Government housing)

12. Give every American a $1000 personal check for his/her vote in November. How? By REDISTRIBUTING THE HARD EARNED MONEY OF ANYONE OR BUSINESS MAKING OVER $250,000/year.

So you read all the above and decide if its a socialist approach. Thats the purpose. When you are done read the following quote and think again on those proposals...

On Gustav/Katrina
I feel bad for NO in some ways...but my sympathy is still short. Anyone who chooses to live in a bowl 14 ft below the water around them on THREE sides...deserves to swim. How funny is it that so many people have the ability to leave this time? Didn't we hear they were immobile and unable? Amazing what happens when the LOCAL government does it's job. The National Guard was there BEFORE the storm this time...thanks bobby Jindal (R). Where was Kathy finger pointer when katrina approached? Lots of buses this time...nice of nagan to actually do his job this time and do it when he is supposed to.

A 1969 Federal mandate demand by the State governments dictates that disaster relief is the sole job of local goverments. The federal gov't is there to write checks.

On Obama
What a tool. Criticizing Palin because she has no experience!? She has 13 years of elected office, and has run an executive level position (State governor). Obama has 143 days in the senate plus a short local stint. Biden has more washington insider time than McCain!!! so how is he change!?

And how will he pay for 150 billion dollars in infrastructure? plus the 50 billion in energy spending he proposed? Taxing the oil companies and rich doesn't cover those costs...

I could go on for much more...but i'll stop. i think the point is made

On Anime...
I love it...but the calls for me to come back will go unheeded. The same useless people are running things, and the same problems still exist. I am happier with my new life...I moved on unlike the con "elite" who still feel the need to tell 15 year olds how to dress and what to like.

this place I am at went ok. A morning of "new" anime...two hours without fucking subtitles. Atleast I bothered to learn some japanese so it was tolerable. WTF though, dub people. What is this japan?! The panels on culture and language were interesting. Cosplayers are everywhere...but they of course suck. trying far too hard to be asian if you ask me.

I decided to head out to the dealers room and see what I can find. I knew it wouldn't be AX's glory...I mean how could this place even hold a candle to that of AFO or Jacon...let alone AX. I had to take a GD subway to get there. would be nice if the dealers room was close to the con. But trundle on I did through the crowds of sweaty otaku clamouring to new editions (august...august!!!/? I mean its July Damn it! Get with the program) but arrive I do. not much there. I mean the availability of trigun, pokemon and coboy bebop was non-existant!! WTF!!OMGBBQ! (or something) these are the greatest anime ever right? I enquire about big O figuring to atleast save some semblance f face...its hard to describe the questionable look returned. Neanderthals I tell you. What is this communist russia? There is a conspiracy somewhere I know it. And this place doesn't even have bleach or Naruto or even *gasp* Inu F*ing Yasha.

so yeah it blows...no fucking drama, the anime doesn't suck, no one is trying hard to get something for nothing, no one is talking from both sides of their head, common sense and curteousy abound, the sake is served in fucking glass not fake wicker, the cosplayers care about what they are doing, the dealers room doesn't have trendy anime stuff, pocky isn't sold anywhere, no one is eating sugar and chasing it with maple syrup, nothing has been set on fire, Jrock is old news, EGL is gone like the Dodo and everyone is too fucking much a know-it-all japanophile.

This con sucks. never come here.
